Lymphatic body massage is a full-body manual drainage technique that mobilises fluid through the superficial lymphatic system to support recovery before and after body procedures and to deliver stand-alone wellness benefits, performed in a 60-minute session by trained therapists at our Miami clinic.
Book consultationAcross any treated body zone, post-procedure swelling is part of the normal healing pattern. Manual lymphatic drainage helps mobilise the fluid, prevents stagnation in the treated tissues, and supports a smoother, cleaner final contour. We recommend starting between day three and five and continuing with several sessions during the first weeks. Patients who follow the schedule consistently tend to show a better contour at the three-month review.
For most endolaser cases we begin between day three and five, when the inflammatory peak begins to settle. After traditional liposuction or other body-contouring surgery, the operating surgeon defines the start date. We never begin drainage on a treated area without the prescribing physician's authorisation, since premature drainage can be uncomfortable and counterproductive.
After endolaser for small areas, three to five sessions is typical. After medium areas, six to eight. After large areas — full abdomen, abdomen and flanks, full thighs — we plan eight to twelve sessions concentrated during the first weeks, with continued cadence as needed. As wellness, a single session is meaningful; a regular cadence over time produces a more sustained effect.
